I've fenced on and off since I was a kid and trained at different clubs across the country. I recently started back up after a long break, and now go when there is open fencing. I have found that CJ and Austin have cultivated a wonderfully welcoming community of fencers from beginners to veterans, and I wholeheartedly recommend Foothills Fencing.
My son was interested in fencing and we were blessed to have found this place nearby! I know nothing of this sport and that has been No Problem at all. The staff is highly knowledgeable and were welcoming to us. Efficient in providing each student with their Own labeled equipment to borrow while there!!! We have gone through the beginner courses and look forward to moving on. Super fascinating sport which is mentally and physically challenging in a good way.
After almost a seven year break from fencing, I decided to get back into it. Foothills was recommended to me by some old fencing friends in Georgia. I have had an amazing experience so far, and I look forward to growing my skills at Foothills. Coach CJ and coach Austin have been nothing short of phenomenal. They have encouraged me and made me feel at home in their club. If you’re new to fencing or looking to start fencing after a long break like I did, Foothills is the place to go!!
We did a private, 4-person lesson for my mother-in-law’s birthday. Absolutely zero prior experience for everyone in our group. Austin and CJ were fantastic. We learned a lot and had a fantastic time!
Such a great program! We participate in the homeschool development class and my kids love it. Highly recommend!
