been asking this organization about housing resources for people on disability since apparently i was not eligible for their program when i signed but instead of actually giving advice they sent me the same email twice about how it was declined and "here's a link to resources we're not gonna give you anyone who can help you whatsoever like you asked us multiple times well just send you the same email we love you never give up also you're not eligible for this program that supposedly helps the poor but sorry you only can be acknowledged by us if you make $54000 yearly" like i need to reach out to someone and get a general idea of where im supposed to go and what im supposed to do. SC211 is so much better if you need help and resources.
Took 2 area rugs there as our new home is all carpet. Everything they have is new or very nice, well priced and place is clean. Would definately shop and buy there.
I debated on posting this but I will. Last year they kicked so many people out of the program. Tell me why all these years people around me could get these homes an now because people don't make like 50k a year then you can't participate now. It's a sad day when habitat can't really help. They said they had to cut funds as well. What's really going on at this site?! I pay what they would have charged now monthly so what's the issue?
This business will definitely lead you on the habitat had approved me a couple months ago I had already put hours in with the program and everything was even taking my baby with me because she is a infant I didn’t have a babysitter. So the fact now that y'all change y'all program and yall call me yesterday and other family to tell them they don’t qualify for yall program anymore because yall don’t have funds or whatever the fact may be is bad business like why waste people time if yall knew that why approve me 5 months ago and waste time .
Habitat serves the community in so many ways. Giving people a hand up, not a handout is a vital life skill. I have really enjoyed getting to know the organization through Julia Levi's great work.
