I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience at Zaxby’s was pretty disappointing. First, the customer service was noticeably lacking. The employee who took my payment and handed me my food didn’t say a single word - no greeting, no response to my “thank you,” nothing. It honestly felt like I was an inconvenience just being there. Unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for it. I bit into a piece of chicken that tasted off, and to make matters worse, I found a hair in my salad (photo attached). At that point, I couldn’t continue eating. Overall, between the lack of basic customer service and the quality of the food, this was not a great experience. I hope management takes a closer look at both cleanliness and how customers are treated.

I am always drawn to Zaxby's because they have grilled chicken and big salads. FOOD> I ordered the Zaxby house Zalad🥗 with grilled chicken and Honey mustard. It is a Mixed greens with carrots and red cabbage, Cheddar Jack cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, and fried onions with Fried or Grilled Chicken and your choice of dressing. HOWEVER - the chicken was grilled to PERFECTION and the salad was absolutely delicious 😋 unfortunately the cucumbers were a bit translucent so I couldn't enjoy them 🥒 otherwise it was a great salad and the lettuce and everything else was wonderful - that crispy Texas Toast is always a nice texture treat 👍 😊 SERVICE> The register service was very lovely. The wait time however was over 15 minutes which was disappointing. I extend grace as they could have had a situation arise and that could have happened to anyone 😍 ATMOSPHERE> The store looks clean and nice. Really nice music 🎵 🎶 PROMOTIONAL ITEMS> The veggie egg rolls look tempting And the cookie butter (batter?) milkshake looks like a wicked temptation. VALUE> The value is good for a huge fresh healthy meal I would recommend Zaxby's to others and humbly suggest that management keep an eye on their midday lunch shift and plan accordingly to keep their loyal lunch goers moving along smartly as we love the food and wish to continue to be your patrons.

It seems they shorten the food in this location, which sucks because this location is downtown and gets more footraffic. I usually get better proportions at other locations and for $5 I was hoping for the full serving. It just seems too much money for a few pickles, and people even warned me about this restaurant, too. I'll just avoid this location.

Very disappointed! I usually visit this place once a month since it’s not far from my house. I waited in line for probably about 30 mins which I didn’t mind since that’s usually the usual at that time (7ish). I ordered the chicken sandwich which was delicious. My fries and cookies were both old. The cookies taste as if they had been out for days and the fries were so greasy. They seemed to have been sitting all day and they warmed them up in the microwave. If I’m going to wait I prefer for my food to be hot and fresh. I hope they can fix this moving forward.

This particular Zaxbys on Church St has fallen off, if you’re not missing a food item, it’s shorting you on the food( like chicken) and it’s every time I go to this particular location only! I never have this problem at the Lauren’s rd location so that’s where I will go from here on out.Service is also not good as it use to be, I know during lunch time there is this one lady and she has exceptional service but if you go here later in the day, customer service is no more! Customer service and food quality at the Lauren’s rd is always on point, this will be my to-go-to location now.
